- Utility Knife

- Chalk line & chalk

- Metal straight edge or Drywall T-square

- Rubber mallet

- Broom or vacuum

Subfloor Condition

1. The subfloors shall be solid, clean, smooth, level, and structurally sound.

2. The surface should be flat to equivalent ± 3 mm

Preparation:

1. Rubber Rolls:

Remove the shrink-wrap of Vasto rubber floor rolls and unroll them onto the floor.

Lay the rubber rolls on the floor relaxing for a minimum of 12 hours to get it flat out, if not hurry, 24 hours is better.

2. Subfloor:

Clean up the subfloor, and remove all traces of old adhesives, paint, or other debris by scraping, sanding, or scarifying the substrate.

3. Adhensive:

We recommend industrial two-component polyurethane adhesive, Adhesive bond tests should be conducted before installation.

Installation:

Apply the adhesive to the subfloor, if comes the joint, the spread area should be 5~10cm wider than the roll side, do not spread more adhesive than can be covered with flooring in the instructions' limited time.

Carefully lay the flooring into the wet adhesive. Do not allow the material to “flop” into the subfloor, which may bring air entrapment and bubbles beneath the rubber flooring.

Roll the floor with a 30~50kgs roller 3~5 times within 30 minutes, to ensure proper adhesive transfer.

Note:

- Lay down the rubber rolls straight and flat, the first roll is extremely important.

- The side joints must be glued and squeezed tightly together, rap the joints slightly with the rubber hammer to make them flat and tight.

- Do not allow the adhesive to cure on your hands, flooring, or tools. Immediately wipe off excess adhesive with a rag dampened with denatured alcohol. Cured adhesive is very difficult to remove from hands. Gloves are strongly suggested while working with adhesive
